The Higher Certificate in Export Management consists of seven modules:
MAR101 – Marketing 1 (20 credits)
AL101 – Academic Literacy 1 (15 credits)
BET101 – Basics of Export Trade 1 (20 credits)
BC101 – Business Communication 1 (20 credits)
BN101 – Business Numeracy 1 (20 credits)
EM101 – Export Administration 1 (20 credits)
SAM001 – Sales Management 1 (20 credits)
The Higher Certificate in Export Management will be offered as a basic entry-level export qualification at level 5 of the NQF (HEQF aligned) and will consist of 135 credits.
To qualify for the Higher Certificate in Export Management, students must write and pass examinations in all modules allocated to the certificate programme. The Higher Certificate in Export Management can be completed within a minimum of one year of full-time study or within two years of part-time study. This certificate must be completed within four years.
Articulation from the Higher Certificate in Marketing to the Diploma in Marketing Management.
Graduates must have successfully completed all the modules on the Higher Certificate in Marketing offered by the IMM GSM.
Application procedure
Applications must be submitted to the National Registrar within a five-year period after qualifying with any of the above-mentioned qualifications. On receiving the application, the Registrar will inform the applicant which additional modules need to be completed in order to qualify for the conferral of the Diploma in Marketing Management.
The articulation must be completed within six years.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management is offered at level 8 of the NQF (HEQF aligned) and will consist of 120 credits. This Diploma is aimed at people in, or moving towards a senior marketing position, who already hold a recognised undergraduate qualification and want to enhance their marketing skills and knowledge.
Admission criteria
An appropriate and recognised three-year qualification on NQF level 7.
A minimum of three years appropriate marketing or marketing-related experience.
A CV and a motivational letter are required.
Applicants are required to complete the Postgraduate Application for Admission form for the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, which, together with certified copies of educational certificates, identity/passport documents, a letter of motivation and a CV, should be returned by registered post to:

A non-refundable deposit (see fee structure) must accompany the application form. Applicants may be required to attend a selection interview at the discretion of the IMM GSM. The programme is divided up as follows:
Submission of assignments in each module except Advanced Marketing Practicum 4.Please refer to the Calendar of Events.
An open book examination in each module, except in Advanced Marketing Practicum 4. Please refer to the Calendar of Events.
Completion of a marketing practicum. No assignment or examination is required. There will be a practical assessment.
All modules on the programme are compulsory.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management comprises five compulsory modules and is structured as follows:

Admission criteria
A student who is in possession of the following may apply for admission:
BCom Honours with Marketing Management and Research Methodology on the NQF Level 8 (HEQSF aligned); or
BPhil Honours with Marketing Management and Research Methodology on the NQF Level 8 (HEQSF aligned); or
BA Honours in Marketing Communications with Marketing Management and Marketing Communications as majors on the NQF Level 8 (HEQSF aligned)
Any other equivalent qualifications
An overall average of 60% must have been achieved on the NQF level 8 qualification
A CV and motivational letter are required

The Dean may refuse a student admission to the Master s qualification if he/she is of the opinion that the student’s academic background does not meet the required academic standards for the proposed studies.
The Dean also has the right to prescribe any additional modules on honours level to ensure that the candidate complies with all requirements.

Le diplôme d études supérieures en gestion du marketing est offert au niveau 8 de la CNC (HEQF aligné) et sera composé de 120 crédits. Ce diplôme se adresse aux personnes dans, ou se déplaçant vers une position de direction en marketing, qui détiennent déjà un diplôme de premier cycle reconnu et veulent améliorer leurs compétences en marketing et des connaissances.
Les critères d admission
Une qualification en trois années appropriée et reconnue au niveau CNC 7.
Un minimum de trois ans de marketing appropriée ou expérience marketing.
Un CV et une lettre de motivation sont nécessaires.

Pour se qualifier pour le certificat supérieur en marketing, les élèves doivent écrire et passer des examens dans tous les modules affectés au programme de certificat. Le certificat supérieur en marketing peut être complété dans un minimum d une année d études à temps plein ou dans les deux années d études à temps partiel. Ce certificat doit être achevée dans un délai de quatre ans.
Procédure de candidature
Les demandes doivent être soumises au registraire national dans un délai de cinq ans après les qualifications avec l une des qualifications mentionnées ci-dessus. sur réception de la demande, le greffier informe le demandeur des modules supplémentaires doivent être complétés afin de se qualifier pour l attribution du Diplôme en gestion du marketing.
L articulation doit être achevé dans les six ans.
